My attitude towards life? Ambivalent. Growing up, I've been taught that studying hard, getting a good job with a handsome salary = luxurious, admirable life. And that is true. Isn't that why our parents has paid so much for our tuition, so that we can achieve a good result for the HSC and enroll in a prestigious university undertaking a respectable degree? Yes it is. We study study study so that we get a good good job with high high salary, because money = power. Power to purchase whatever we desire, to travel to different parts of the world, to enjoy the best food, to live in the most comfortable houses. Yet how long will it be, for us to reach that stage? A decade? Maybe a few? By then will we even have time to enjoy what money can buy?

I grew up thinking money is everything ... that's the way most of us were raised right? We watch our parents work hard to provide us with what we want, without realising how much effort they put in to earn those money; how hard they work. So they think that if we had an "comfortable" job with good pay, then our lives would be easier than their's, but seriously, if i was to sit in an office all day... how meaningless and insignificant will that be? And thinking about it, which enjoyable job pays well?! Doctors, lawyers, actuaries etc. are those enjoyable jobs? Maybe to a few, but definitely not me. What's the point if we're to work endless hours without enjoying what life really offers, watching time tickticktick away and our bodies age? :( And I don't wanna let my parents down either, for all they've done to me, I JUST WANT TO BE HAPPY, you know?! BUT MONEY MAKES ME HAPPY. And there's so many things I wanna do before I'm old! TIME is such a critical issue here. And it just keeps going in circles, this life paradox ):

See how ambivalent life is? We neverrrrr get our ways x( ! Yeah life is so not fair, always have to sacrifice one thing for another, I guess I just need to use the cost-benefit principle to analyse and choose the option with the lowest opportunity cost lmao economics in action >:(

Anyways on Thursday while Chris Sharon and I were at the city we saw a dance group called JUSTICE and they were performing haha so people were so generous donating $10 to them =o Chris was so excited he kept saying ''Awww shieeeeee" and cheering for them, I was so embarrassed to stand next to him, haha =p
